Terms of Service for Meiguo Education Group, LLC (“Meiguo Education”)

Welcome to Meiguo Education! By purchasing any counseling or advising services, you agree to the following terms of service. These terms are designed to create a productive, respectful, and structured environment for all clients.

• Meiguo Education offers college admissions counseling, essay guidance, and educational advising services through packages purchased on our website.
• Services include guidance on school selection, career counseling, assessing admissions chances, optimizing admissions profiles, addressing application weaknesses, and long-term academic planning.

• Standard Hours: Our business hours are Monday to Friday. All counselors, advisors, and tutors work within these days.
• Weekend Sessions: Weekend sessions are available only on exception and at the sole discretion of Meiguo Education. Requests for weekend availability must be pre-arranged and cannot be guaranteed.
• In-Person Sessions: In-person sessions are available upon request and if possible with the assigned counselors. Appointments are always required.

• Booking Process: Once a package is purchased, coordination with our team will occur to schedule sessions at mutually convenient times. Additionally, sessions can be easily booked using online booking software.
• Confirmation: Upon scheduling, a confirmation email will be sent. The session time is considered confirmed once you book it on our website or through the Calendly application.
• Authority to Book: The credit card holder authorizes both the student and parent (if applicable) to book, reschedule, or cancel sessions. Actions taken do not require individual confirmation from the cardholder for each instance.

• Counselor Lateness: If a counselor is late by more than 10 minutes, we will offer additional session time to compensate. If a counselor is late by more than 30 minutes or does not show, a rescheduled session along with additional time will be provided at no additional charge.
• Student Lateness: If a student is late, the session will proceed for the remaining scheduled time. We do not offer make-up time for late arrivals.
• No-Show Policy: If a student does not attend a confirmed session without prior notice, a 15-minute time reduction will be applied. Students must be online and contactable at the scheduled time via the designated platform (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, WeChat, WhatsApp, etc.). Counselors will wait for 15 minutes and then leave the meeting and the time will be deducted.

• Standard Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled session. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session will incur a reduction in package time as if the student did not show, i.e. a 15-minute time deduction.
• Rescheduling: To reschedule an appointment, students can easily do so using the Calendly functions. Students must reschedule at least 48 hours prior to the original meeting time. If an appointment is rescheduled with less than 48 hours prior to meeting, then a 15-minute deduction will occur to the package. 

• Communication: Students agree to maintain open communication with their counselor, meet deadlines, and adhere to established timelines.
• Academic Integrity: All essay submissions and application materials must be original. Plagiarism or excessive use of artificial intelligence in written submissions is strictly prohibited.
• Participation Requirements: Students are expected to check their email, application portals, and update progress regularly via the assigned Google Documents used by Meiguo Education and their employees (or other designated platform).
• Attendance: Consistent attendance is essential to achieve optimal outcomes. Meiguo Education reserves the right to review and adjust services if attendance becomes inconsistent.

• No-Show and Lateness Fees: Fees associated with no-shows or lateness, if applicable, will be applied directly against the remaining package hours. 
• Additional Charges: Meiguo Education has absolutely no hidden fees. Our price is outlined clearly for each package. If a student requests to change Senior College Advisors or Meiguo Writing Specialists, Meiguo Education will do their best to accommodate but a change is not guaranteed.

Meiguo Education has a 30-day refund policy. Any unused package hours may be refunded during the refund period, which begins on the first meeting date of the package.

Meiguo Education is not responsible for the ultimate admissions decisions made by colleges or universities. While we strive to provide the best possible guidance, admissions outcomes are beyond our control. 

All documents, materials, and resources provided by Meiguo Education, including but not limited to the shared Google Documents, are the sole property of Meiguo Education. Clients are strictly prohibited from duplicating, sharing, transferring, or transmitting any materials without the explicit written permission of Meiguo Education. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of these materials is a violation of this agreement and may result in legal action. 

Meiguo Education Group, LLC reserves the right to update these terms as necessary. Clients will be informed of significant changes via email. 

By purchasing a package, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms of service. These terms are designed to protect the quality of the services provided and maintain a structured and respectful environment for all clients.
